Hidden Hills Elementary School

1919 E. Sharon Dr.

Phoenix, AZ

The habitat for the 2006 Schoolyard Wildlife Habitat Contest winner was constructed on October 12-13, 2006.  Everyone, from the Principal to the Kindergarteners, were very excited about the project.  Many teachers brought their class out each day to watch the progress being made and to ask questions.

Materials and labor for the habitat were donated by: The Pond Gnome, Mountain States Wholesale Nursery, West Valley Rock, Horizon irrigation products, and Desert Scape Landscaping.  Funding was raised through the annual Parade of Ponds tour.

See their habitat in person during the 2007 Parade of Ponds!
